Types of Tapware
We offer two main types of tapware. The first consists of separate hot and cold taps and the other are mixers. You can use both types of tapware for the basin, bath, or shower. They come in different styles and installation options.
- Separate hot and cold taps – As the name suggests, this tapware has two tap handles to control the temperature of the water. Often the taps sit on top of the tiles, benchtop or splashback. They are reasonably easy to install or replace.
- Mixers – A mixer usually has a single tap that controls both hot and cold water. You set the temperature by moving the lever from left to right. They are the most popular types of tapware in modern bathrooms.
Tapware Material & Colour
In the past, customers didn’t have much choice when it came to tapware material or colours available on the market, with chrome the standard type of typware.
